"En Route" - Italy and Korea Exhibit

26 Feb. - 14 Mar. at Centro Allende La Spezia

6 artists from Korea and Italy have an exhibition at the Centro Allende in La Spezia from 26 february to 14 march.

Hosted by 'Centro Allende' and sponsored by Gallery Gabianno from la Spezia and Art Forum Asia from Seoul, the exhibition will boost up the development of art exchange from both cities.
 
La Spezia is a harbor city with 250 thousands of population located in the northwest region of Italy. Right and left from La Spezia situated Genoa and Pisa. Around the city, there is a world famnous cultural asset designated by UNESCO, Cinque Terra.

The exhibition will be held with the title "En-Route". Kim Young Ran, Kim Jong Hee and Bai In Sook from Seoul and Alberto Sordi, Roberto Buratta and Maurizio Vanoli from Italy will be invited for the exhibition.

The curator of the exhibition is Alberto Sordi, who will also participate in the exhibition as an artist.

Kim Young Ran will present a new kind of figures partly introducing photographic work. Bai In Sook has presented an Asian intuition and emotion in her minimalistic works. Kim Jong Hee is an artist who had been living in Milan for a long years and has been showing works delicately harmonizing both Asian and European cultures.

Alberto Sordi had politicians or poets of Italy in modern history appeared on his works and   created new narratives from them. Roberto Buratta focuses on an instant moment of nature and shows a reality of nature rather through humidity than colors.
