The National Museum of Contemporary Art in Korea presents "Doors Open" from August 13 to September 13 at the Korean Cultural Service NY and Sylvia Wald & Po Kim Art Gallery.
"Doors Open" is the first exhibition in NY of the artists from the National Art Studio in Korea, of which the participating artists are Kira Kim, Hee-seon Kim, Se-jin Kim, So-yeon Kim, Tae-eun Kim, Mioon, Kiwoun Shin, Kang-hyun Ahn, Doo-jin Ahn, Jung-ju An, and Biho Ryu. The exhibition intends to present the roots of panics and uneasy experiences hidden in daily lives existing in Korean Contemporary art and society.
