Joel Bewley's solo exhibition will be held at the Jay Gallery from Oct. 21 to Nov. 3.

Joel is an American artist who is not living in Korea. Studying Korean language and culture, he has been much influenced by them in his work.

He always casts a question: "What is the opposite of what I am looking on now and why?" And he willingly assimilates such dualism into the dualistic meaning in which
the Korean language involves.

Born in 1980, and graduated from Ringling School of Art, he now goes to the graduate course of Hansei University.

He has had shows in the Selby gallery and Central studio in Florida and Buddha's Belly at Itawon Seoul, etc.
